USAWKF is excited to collaborate with Sport Data again for the online registration of this year’s Junior Team Trials and Adult Sanda competition. Sport Data is a world wide recognized company that works with many international sports to provide registration and scoring systems. It is a new system for Wushu so we have compiled a little walk through to help you work through it.

Individual athletes will be able to register themselves. Families and schools also have the option to register all of their athletes all under the same account.

Then, follow the steps below to get your competitors registered!

Before you register, here are some things to consider:

Important Notes:

All participants should plan to be present for all days of competition. If you arrive late or leave early you would risk missing your specific event(s).
USAWKF Membership will be required for Junior Taolu and Junior Sanda team trials. You will need to enter your Membership ID number under your competitor profile in the text field titled “National Athlete ID” You can register for membership on our website at https://www.usawkf.org/membership-application Your membership number will be emailed to you after our staff has processed it.

Set up an account

You’ll first need to set up an account. After that you’ll be able to add your competitors and select their categories of competition.

Click on Login in the upper right hand corner.

A window will pop up in the center of the screen where you can choose to create your own account with your own username and password, or use an existing Google, Facebook or Twitter account to create a new Sportdata account.

After your account is created you’ll be looking at your own profile within Sportdata. Now is time to add your competitors.

Add Your Competitors

If you are registering for yourself then make sure to edit your profile and enter your birth date. This is crucial so the system can correctly display only the competition categories appropriate for your age group.

If you are a parent or a coach who is registering and paying for all of your students, then you’ll need to add additional competitors to your account.

Either way, you’ll need to enter the competitors area by clicking on My Competitors in the sub header.

If you need to update your birthdate then click on Edit on the right hand side

Click on the “Add New Competitor” button if you need to add additional children or students.

Make sure you enter all information completely, including the Gender, Birthdate, Email address and National Athlete ID. If you are competing in Sanda as an adult, you do not have to be an active USAWKF member. In this case enter “Adult Sanda” into your National Athlete ID field.

Once all of your competitors are entered you can proceed to selecting their competition categories.

Select the Competition Categories
Now that your competitors are all entered into the system you can proceed to selecting the categories they will compete in.

You can use this link to navigate back to our Team Trials and Championships homepage.

Here you’ll see a row of icons next to each other, click on “Competitor”

Then click on “Add Individual Entry”

As the text says on the page that appears, you will add one category at a time. So if you, or your competitor, are planning to compete in Changquan, Jianshu and Qiangshu, you will need to click this button 3 times and add each individually.

On the following page you’ll get a bunch of options.
1. First choose your competitor
2. choose which part of the competition you want to choose the category from (for example, Taolu Team Trial, Sanda, National Championships, National Ranking)
3. And then finally choose the category (For example Male 48kg, Changquan, Beginner Traditional Northern)
For example, if you are adding a Sanda entry, you would select the competitor, then select “Sanda,” then select the appropriate weight category in the final list. The final list should filter out genders and age groups that don’t apply to your competitor.

Depending on what you choose, you may be prompted for additional information. Read on to learn more about them.

Once everything is entered, then click Save below.

The entry will not be finalized until the payment is submitted. Add everybody’s categories before proceeding to payment.

Declaring Your Nandu and Compulsory Movements

If you or your competitor are registering for the Taolu team trials or Adult Taolu National Rankings, you will need to declare the Nandu and order of compulsory movements for each routine.

First, is the Nandu list. Pick your Nandu from the list on the left and then click the button with the arrow pointing to the right. The selected Nandu movement will appear on the right. Add them in the order that they will appear in your routine. If you need to change the order you can use the Up and Down arrows located below the right hand list. There is a running total of your movement and connection points as you add more movements.

Once you are satisfied with your Nandu and Compulsory Movement list, click save below.

Finally, you must declare the order of compulsory movements that appear in your routine. Select a movement name and use the Up and Down arrows to change the order until it matches your routine.

Once you are satisfied with your Nandu and Compulsory Movement list then click Save.

Specify your Traditional style

We are excited to have more traditional styles in our competitions and we would like to know what you plan to perform. We have some basic breakdowns, such as Northern and Southern and Internal.

Once you choose your open hand and weapon categories, the system will prompt to enter the name of your style.

It is possible that if enough people enter a category then we will split up the category into smaller sub categories based on what is entered in this field.

Paying the Registration Fees

Now that every competitor has all of their competition categories entered, it is time to complete the registration by paying through PayPal.

Before you pay, check one more time at the complete list of entries so you know you have completed everything. Use the “Waiting List” button to view the list.

After you confirmed you are ready to pay then click on “My Current Entries” which is the last of the big icons.

Scroll down and you’ll see a PayPal link. Log in to your PayPal account and proceed until you see the Payment confirmation.

When you pay you’ll see the account is to be to United Martial Arts Training Center. This is correct because they are the organizers of the competition.

After payment is complete you can look back at your list of entries. They will have moved from the “Waiting List” to the “My Individual Entries” list.

You will also receive a payment confirmation email from PayPal and an entry confirmation email from Sportdata.

登记难度和规定动作
