Introduction from the IWUF:
The International Wing Chun Competition (IWCC), co-hosted by the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) and
the Chinese Wushu Association (CWA), is an international level sporting event to propagate the development of
wing chun around the world. With the first edition taking place in 2018, the IWCC has been held two editions so
far.
This competition is open to wing chun practitioners worldwide and is based on the traditional kungfu concepts
of performance, training, power skill, and combat. This provides a platform for wing chun enthusiasts globally to
fully showcase their abilities. The event is an important attempt and innovation by the IWUF to promote the
development of traditional kungfu worldwide and encourage universal participation in kungfu. The IWCC 2025
features six events: routines, chi-sau, skill (intelligent kungfu pile), mai-son-jong, fighting, and combined events.
