Balancing Wushu Training and Academics in High School
February 8
The USAWKF invites families to an educational webinar focused on navigating the intersection of elite martial arts training and the college admissions process.
This session is designed for students in grades 8 – 11, aligning with the winter academic course planning period, when families begin making decisions that shape long term academic and extracurricular trajectories.
Why Attend?

Holistic Evaluation
How elite individual sports like Wushu are interpreted within the competitive college admissions process.
Athletic Commitment in Context
How long term training, competition history, and progression are documented and understood by admissions readers.
Academic Planning Alignment
How academic course choices are evaluated alongside intensive training during high school.
Guest Speaker: Maria Tzankova
